This year’s “Botsford Dinner” will be held at Fort Malden, in the Barracks. Reception at 6:30pm, dinner at 7pm. The Barracks is 199 years old this year. A traditionally cooked roast beef dinner will be prepared in the Fort cookhouse, served with vegetables, pie for dessert, wine and coffee/tea. $30. per person (all reservations must be honored) Please call or email Marlene MarkhamGay, or 519- 322-0856 for reservations by May 25th. This year’s Botsford Scholar is Megan Cote. Title of the talk: The rise of C.H. Smith: Windsor’s Department Stores, Urban Consumerism, and Women’s Modernity of the early 20th Century.
