Onions and Peach Fuzz, September 26, 2019

Don’t miss the reading and signing of the new book “Onion Skins and Peach Fuzz”, authors, Bonnie Stiller and Shirleyan English have written about the “Farmerettes of Ontario”. The farmerettes were the ladies that worked the fields and harvested the crops while the men were away during World War II. There were farmerettes in Cottam. Come out for an interesting part of our history followed by dessert and coffee. Sponsored by ECHS. 7pmptember 26 ,Essex Railway Station. $10.per person. RSVP mmarkham1@cogeco.ca space is limited.
